●概要： Hong Kong Laureate Forumは、若手研究者とShaw賞(東洋のノーベル賞とも言われている、天文学、生命科学と医学、数理科学の3つの分野における進歩と卓越した貢献を評価するために2002年に設立された賞)の受賞者がセミナーやダイアローグ、ワークショップ、ポスターセッション等を通じて、交流のための機会を提供することを目的としています。Forumは、2021年11月15〜20日に香港サイエンスパークで開催される予定です。
●金銭的サポート：
2021年11月15日から2021年11月20日の朝まで、以下の項目の費用はHKLF事務局が完全に負担します。
・食事/軽食（朝食、昼食、夕食、軽食）
・朝食付きホテル(最大6日間)
・交通機関（指定ホテルとフォーラム会場間）
・ツアー、訪問、文化体験
●最大推薦人数
本学から推薦が可能なのは、学部生10名、修士課程学生・博士後期課程学生・博士号取得者10名です。それ以上の応募があった場合は、学内選考を行います。部局からの推薦人数に制限はありません。
●フォーラム日程：2021年11月15日～2021年11月20日
●募集分野：天文学、生命科学・医学、数理科学
●対象者：35歳以下で、以下のいずれかの身分である者
（1）学部学生、修士課程学生、博士後期課程学生(2021年11月15日時点)
(2) 博士号取得者(2016年11月15日以降取得)
●必要書類

●Financial support:
All items listed below will be arranged free of charge during the forum from November 15 to the morning of 20 November 2021.
✓Meals and snacks (including breakfasts, lunches, dinners*, and light refreshments)
*All participants will need to arrange one dinner by themselves on November 17.
✓Six nights hotel accommodation (including breakfast) on November 14–19, 2021
✓Transportation (between the designated hotel and the forum venues, and during tours and visits arranged by the HKLF)
✓Tours, visits, and cultural experiences arranged by the HKLF
●Maximum number of candidates
Kyoto University is able to nominate up to ten undergraduates and ten postgraduates/PhD graduates. If there are more applicants, an internal selection will be implemented. There is no restriction on the number of applicants per department.
●Period of The Hong Kong Laureate Forum: Nov. 15–Nov. 20, 2021
●Fields:
Astronomy / Life Science and Medicine / Mathematical Sciences / Other closely related subjects.
●Individuals fulfilling the following criteria may apply:
✓ Undergraduates / Postgraduates (Enroll in Undergraduate or Postgraduate program as of 15
November 2021) or Ph.D. Graduates (Awarded Ph.D. after 15 November 2016)
✓ Age 35 or below
