講演のテーマは「緩和ケアを受けている重症児のためのプレイセラピー」です。英国タイハファン小児ホスピスの主任心理学者であるボウヤー教授が、重篤な末期疾患を抱える子どもたちと接してきた豊富な経験を共有します。ボウヤー教授は、言葉を話せない幼い子どもたちへの心理的サポートにおけるプレイセラピーの独自の役割について語ります。
The theme of the talk will be "Play Therapy for Seriously Ill Children Receiving Palliative Care". Dr Bowyer, Head Psychologist at Tyhafan Children's Hospice, UK, will share his extensive experience working with children with serious terminal illnesses. Dr Bowyer will talk about the unique role of play therapy in providing psychological support to young children who are non-verbal.

ボイヤー先生はイギリス・ウェールズの小児ホスピスで遺族支援を担当しており、悲嘆やトラウマへの対応に豊富な経験があります。子どもや家族への包括的な支援、子どもの保護、セラピー、若者の支援に取り組んでいます。
Dr Bowyer is currently leading the bereavement services in the primary children hospice in Wales, UK. Experienced therapist with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Play Therapy (BAPT) from University of South Wales, BSc in Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma on Therapeutic Life Story Work. She has extensive experience working with bereavement and trauma. Skilled in working systemically with children and families, safeguarding children, child therapy and Youth Empowerment.
