Cell Pressでは投稿された原稿がどのように審査・評価されているのか。編集者は原稿を査読に回すかどうかをどうやって判断するのか。編集者はレビュアーをどのように選び、査読を見てどうやって最終判断を下すのか。どのような場合にリバイス計画について編集者に相談したり、決定に異議申し立てをしたりすべきか。ジャーナル間のTransferがどのように行われているのか。Cell Systems、そしてCell Pressの姉妹誌はどんな原稿を求めているのか。原稿投稿の際に編集者が効率的かつ建設的に査読プロセスを提供できるために著者としてどのような点に気を付けるとよいのか。これらの疑問をはじめ皆様からの質問にもお答えし、Cell Pressの舞台裏を紹介します。
また、編集者としての私自身の経験をはじめ科学編集者のキャリアパスについてもお話しします。皆さまと議論できることを楽しみにしています。
