The goal of this workshop is to discuss and dissect project design and execution in immunology. The four invited lecturers will present current and past research projects in mucosal immunology, neuroimmunology, B cell and germinal center dynamics, human immunology, and anti-viral immunity; the focus will be to discuss the challenges and problems that arose during the projects and how they developed new experimental approaches to adapt and overcome these obstacles. There will also be time for participating students and postdocs to discuss challenges they are facing in their own research projects.
