Our research focuses on uncovering molecular and circuit mechanisms in neurodevelopment, memory formation, and neuropsychiatric disorders. Employing a broad array of multi-disciplinary experimental techniques, our work spans analyses from the genomic and molecular level to synapse, circuit, and whole animal behavioral levels. We particularly focus on the mechanisms underlying the reconfiguration of neural circuits following sensory and behavioral experiences that lead to behavioral adaptation as well as functional maturation during development. My talk will highlight both published and ongoing studies in my lab.
