Research and Education
Our center conducts interdisciplinary research to assess the societal impact of diverse initiatives, with a strong focus on the field of public health and healthcare. We aim to establish a rigorous academic foundation for social impact assessment and evaluation in the healthcare, not only medical outcomes but also economic, social, and environmental dimensions.
We also promote innovative financing mechanisms such as Pay for Success (PFS) and Social Impact Bonds (SIB), fostering collective impact through collaboration among industry, government, academia, and civil society.
Our work is guided by essential questions: What impact does a project have on society? Who benefits or is left behind? What supplementary actions are needed? Where should resources be prioritized for maximum public value? Through such inquiry, we support evidence-based decisions that advance equitable and sustainable societal progress.
