The Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (CCII) was established on April 1st 2020 as an educational and research facility of Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, with a view to lead the world in solving those challenges of cancer immunology/immunotherapy and contribute to breakthrough in cancer care.
The first Director of the CCII is Tasuku Honjo, Distinguished Professor of Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study and co-winner of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
