The Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (CCII) was established as an educational and research facility of Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine (April 1st, 2020).

The Center for Cancer Immunotherapy and Immunobiology (CCII) was established on April 1st 2020 as an educational and research facility of Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine, with a view to lead the world in solving those challenges of cancer immunology/immunotherapy and contribute to breakthrough in cancer care.
The first Director of the CCII is Tasuku Honjo, Distinguished Professor of Kyoto University Institute for Advanced Study and co-winner of the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
